Current and recent projects of UrbanLens Planing can be found below.
Working with multiple partners, UrbanLens Planning has been assisting with a variety of regulatory reviews for projects within Washington Park. These include assistance with multiple Adjustment applications for signage and zoning code review for automobile parking studies at the Park. UrbanLens Planning is currently working with the City of Hillsboro Parks & Recreation Department on development of the regulatory documentation associated with the adoption of the Parks & Recreation System Plan. Clara Vista Master Plan. UrbanLens Planning is proud to support the mission and community vision of Hacienda Community Development Corporation and Gorman and Co. in their development of affordable housing associated with the Clara Vista site in NE Portland. Her work includes land use research for future design and platting efforts and the completion of a Replat and Property Line Adjustment. Yamhill County Transit Land use Support. UrbanLens is currently providing land use permitting and process management assistance to support the installation of a variety of bus stop improvements for the Yamhill County Transit (YCT). North Transmission Line Intertie. UrbanLens Planning is currently working with RH2 Engineering and the City of Beaverton on land use permitting associated with the North Transmission Line Intertie (NTLI). The NTLI is a linear water transmission project designed to: improve the resiliency of the City of Beaverton’s water supply; take advantage of additional available supply capacity from the City’s water supply services in the Joint Water Commission (JWC) North Transmission Line (NTL); and to provide City water service to areas recently withdrawn from the Tualatin Valley Water District. A number of land use permitting efforts for the linear aspects of the project as well as above-ground infrastructure are expected in Washington County, City of Beaverton and the City of Hillsboro. Robin’s work includes researching land use and zoning requirements; developing the application packages for the land use permits and coordinating with the Development team and jurisdictions on obtaining approvals. Stratus Village. UrbanLens Planning provided the land use permitting support for a Planned Development Amendment, Three Mile Lane Design Review and Landscape Plan review land use application for development of an affordable housing project in McMinnville, Oregon. Oregon Transportation System Plans. UrbanLens Planning is currently supporting a Prime Consultant on a number of Transportation System Plan updates for small communities in Oregon. Robin’s work on these projects includes a review of the land use and zoning of the jurisdictions, support for outreach and interviews, developing policy assessments and providing revised land use code and/or Comprehensive Plan language. Robin also provides support for the Plan’s adoption as part of the regulatory hearings. Robin is currently providing land use planning assistance to the City of Wood Village as a contract planner. Her role is to process administrative and quasi-judicial land use applications for the City as well as provide planning support to City Departments and the office of the City Manager. North Gateway, Silver Falls State Park. Robin is currently working with KPFF and the State of Oregon Parks and Recreation on providing land use services towards expansion and improvements associated with the North Gateway area of the Silver Falls State Park. UrbanLens’ efforts include land use research and coordination with the team on a Conditional Use Permit with Marion County. Robin is currently providing land use permitting assistance to Parametrix and the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments for development of two new transit mobility hubs in Albany and Corvallis, Oregon. UrbanLens’ efforts include development of land use applications for permitting through the cities of Albany and Corvallis as well as coordination with Oregon State University. Clean Water Services Field Operations Building. UrbanLens Planning is providing land use and permitting support for the development of a Field Operations Building for Clean Water Services. Robin provided land use planning assistance to Oak Lodge Water Services and Wallis Engineering for improvements to a Lift Station in a residential neighborhood of the City of Milwaukie. Dartmouth North. UrbanLens Planning provided land use assistance for REACH Community Development in preparing a site for redevelopment with a mixed use/affordable housing development. UrbanLens Planning completed the Lot Consolidation application with the City of Tigard. Robin’s work also included consulting with Bora Architecture on the associated master plan land use efforts. Robin provided land use permitting support to the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services and Portland Bureau of Transportation for a Type III Conditional Use and Adjustment Review in conjunction with the development of stormwater facilities within a larger street improvement project in a Local Improvement District project in the vicinity of Errol Park. Reeder Road Culvert Replacement.
In partnership with a Prime Consultant, UrbanLens Planning provided land use permitting support for Multnomah County’s bridge/road rebuild at Reeder Road. Robin worked with Multnomah County Land Use Planning Division to obtain an Erosion and Sedimentation Control permit, Floodplain Development permit and a Land Use Compatibility Statement.
